A New Beginning

It's a new year for the Farm, going into it's 6th season, and a new role for me.  I'm stepping back just a little, and rather than being there all the time and feeling responsible for every little thing that happens, I will try to provide advice and teaching.
Some things, like this website, and finances, will remain my domain.  I do hope things work out well with the new arrangement, and that our volunteers feel a bit more empowered and part of the overall process.
The Farm has, in my humble opinion, come a long, long way and has produced very well.  I am very proud of all of our volunteers.  We are, after all, an all volunteer, charitable program to feed the hungry.

the Emmanuel Community Farm and other
worthy projects for the provision of relief to the poor, the distressed, or the underprivileged, and to improve living conditions in the City of Southfield, MI., and surrounding communities.  It also lessens the burden of government.
